Newark volunteer recognised in New Year’s Honours 04 January 2024 A champion of Newark's voluntary sector, and Secretary of SSAFA Nottinghamshire, has been granted the British Empire Medal in the 2024 New Year's Honours. And they’re off: Larkhill Point to Point supports military charity 19 December 2023 The event is on the 4th February 2024 at Larkhill racecourse and, after being saved from closure last year, the race day will be bigger than ever! Students give “best Christmas present ever” to charity walker 19 December 2023 The students were inspired by local veteran, Russ Chittenden, who is walking the whole of the UK coastline to raise funds for the charity.
