A champion of Newark's voluntary sector, and Secretary of SSAFA Nottinghamshire, has been granted the British Empire Medal in the 2024 New Year's Honours.
The event is on the 4th February 2024 at Larkhill racecourse and, after being saved from closure last year, the race day will be bigger than ever!
The students were inspired by local veteran, Russ Chittenden, who is walking the whole of the UK coastline to raise funds for the charity.
